Hi Alba,
ResponderEliminarI think to write a letter to Santa is a good idea to work the parts of a letter and how it has to be done. Just this days I'm doing my Practicum and we made this activity in Spanish language and the students were really motivated about it so why don't do it in EFL? I would love to use your activity in the future if I have the opportunity...
Thanks,
Laura from "English Station".
Hello Alba!
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion, the activity of writing a letter to Santa Claus is very good to work with our students. Before Christmas, our pupils are very happy because they are going to receive presents from Santa Claus and they are going to meet all the family, so I think that our pupils will enjoy a lot this activity. Also, they will work skills such as writing and reading. They will learn some vocabulary according to Christmas too. Moreover, we can work oral skills and fluency if we ask our students to tell what they want for Christmas in front of the class.
Thank you for the activity!
Hello Alba,
ResponderEliminarFirst of all, I would like to congratulate you for your great blog. In reference to this activity, I think that it is very suitable for Christmas time. It makes children think about the words they should write and ask someone or do an Internet search if they don't know the word. It's great for improving reading skills and for developing basic vocabulary.
Thank you!
